Job Title: Transmission Line Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transmission Line Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of engineers in the design and development of transmission line projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of transmission line projects, including the creation of detailed designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Mentor and supervise a team of engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including manufacturers, vendors, and contractors.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in transmission line engineering.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Membership in good standing with a Canadian professional association.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in transmission line engineering, including 10 years of experience in design and development.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer software used for structural design, including PLS Tower, PLS Cadd, and PLS Pole.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
