Our skilled team manages a variety of projects from initial engineering concepts to final commissioning.

We are seeking a driven Intermediate Lines Design Engineer to contribute to our Calgary operations. In this role, you will be integral to the engineering and design workflow within a vibrant and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design of overhead and underground power distribution systems.
  • Collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to finalize design specifications.
  • Support Professional Engineers in conducting technical studies and developing equipment specifications.
  • Create material and construction specifications for projects.
  • Provide procurement assistance and conduct technical evaluations.
  • Design structures and equipment for overhead and underground applications.
  • Engage in fiber design for joint-use projects.
  • Prepare comprehensive design packages for client assessments.
  • Identify and escalate design challenges to Professional Engineers.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and coordinate project activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of bids and provide construction support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in design and construction is advantageous.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of power system operations and installation standards is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
