Job Title: Hydraulic Service Technician

At SunSource, we are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing technical services to our customers, including building, converting, and repairing hydraulic piston pumps and motors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and repair hydraulic components, including pumps and motors
  • Assemble and test hydraulic units according to manufacturer specifications
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with hydraulic systems
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols
  • Participate in continuous improvement through training and associate development
  • Work efficiently with a team, providing guidance and support to new technicians
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience with repairs and assembly of hydraulic components
  • Ability to assemble and test power units, repair, convert, and assemble all types of hydraulic components
  • Experience with components from Danfoss, Parker, and Amca is a plus
  • Hydraulic theory and general troubleshooting experience would be preferred
  • General computer knowledge (Word, Outlook, Excel)
