Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at ONTARIO INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant environment.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we always have the necessary resources on hand.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our inventory management and cost control strategies.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, providing insights into our operations and suggesting areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
