We are seeking a seasoned Senior Development Director to lead our unannounced project, overseeing full franchise operations, project management, and project auditing.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team at Kabam, a world leader in developing entertaining, immersive, and highly social multiplayer games.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead coaching, mentoring, and career development of your team, responsible for the talent planning within your cross-functional team. Lead project managers at all levels of your team.
  • Partner with the leadership team to ensure the team has the best organizational structure and processes that allow them to produce high quality, on time, and on budget.
  • Manage all operational aspects of the game development for a team or multiple teams, including establishing development framework, reporting, risk management, capacity planning, resource management, and budget.
  • Determine the resource needs of the team, resolve identified gaps, monitor and adjust capacity plans within multiple projects.
  • Work with Executive Producer, Finance, and Product Manager to establish a project budget.
  • Work with the project team to determine task requirements, estimates, and assign tasks to team resources.
  • Collaborate with Executive Producer and Product Manager to reconcile basic financial information for reporting.
  • Ensure projects are within spending limits for time and resources.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of Project Management, Operations, and leadership experience with the ability to work with a variety of partners.
  • 2+ years recent experience leading development on multi-platform environments, in a AAA game environment.
  • Experience managing a large project or multiple projects using a variety of project management methodologies.
  • Experience building resource plans and managing budgets at scale.
  • Strength in building relationships and setting clear expectations.
  • Proven track record of developing best practices and tools for project execution and management.

Compensation and Benefits
  • The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000-$150,000 per year, depending on experience.
