Production Manager

The Coalition Studio, a Microsoft first-party development studio located in Vancouver, Canada, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join their team. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for managing multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with other Producers and discipline leads to drive milestones.
Key responsibilities include sprint planning, execution, dependency management, and evaluation of priorities, as well as communicating goals to the team and motivating them to execute on time and at a high-quality level. You will also be responsible for proactive risk management and mitigation, creating, updating, and presenting status and information to the leadership team, identifying task-related processes to improve efficiency, managing inter-team dependencies, providing regular capacity plan updates, focusing on project development with an emphasis on team empowerment, and supporting Agile development in the team.
To be successful in this role, you will need strong communication and presentation skills, extensive knowledge of production tools such as JIRA and Confluence, and a minimum of 5 years of production experience on console products. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience managing cross-functional teams through different game phases are also highly desirable.
