We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to join our team at EPIC - Educational Program Innovations Center.
Job Summary:The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and direction of the organization, ensuring the effective allocation of resources, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the organization, ensuring the achievement of business objectives.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
- Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
- Policies and Programs: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
- Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
- Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
- Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning.
- Education: College/CEGEP
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Skills: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, judgement, organized, team player, values and ethics
