About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker to join our team at Access Personal Support, Ltd. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
  • Administer medications and collect specimens as required.
  • Assist clients with feeding and meal preparation.

Requirements:

  • College diploma or certificate in a related field (e.g., personal support work, nursing, or social work).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a home support setting.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
