Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment. You will also be responsible for the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) of new units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment
  • Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) of new units
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience performing agricultural equipment service repairs
  • Ag Technician preferred (Level 4 to Journeyman)
  • Previous John Deere experience preferred
  • Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures
  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of heavy-duty and/or agricultural equipment
  • Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions
  • Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
  • Valid driver's license with reasonable abstract required
  • Forklift license preferred
