Job Title: Field Service Technician

Join L.B. Foster Company as a Field Service Technician and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our railway equipment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our friction management equipment and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and maintenance of railway equipment and products
  • Troubleshooting and repair of equipment and products
  • Customer training and support
  • Liaison with external customers and internal company departments
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Prior hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and schematics reading experience
  • E-Railsafe and Roadway Worker Protection (RWP) certification
  • CDL License or Driver's License with Transport Canada Physical Card
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Software
  • A high degree of reliability, professionalism, and ability to work independently
Work Environment:

As a Field Service Technician, you will be required to work outdoors on railway trucks under various weather conditions. You will also be required to travel extensively throughout North America and possibly overseas.
