Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Public Transit Engagement Specialist to join our team in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). As a key member of our transit team, you will play a crucial role in delivering large-scale projects for clients.

About the Role

  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality engagement outcomes;
  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies to meet project goals;
  • Manage stakeholder meetings and communication processes to ensure effective collaboration and timely delivery;
  • Coordinate with clients' technical advisors and project teams to ensure seamless integration;
  • Review and follow up on stakeholder comments and requests;
  • Support design review processes and coordinate stakeholder requirements collection and evaluation;
  • Perform other duties as required to support project deliverables and key activities.

Requirements

  • Adept written and verbal communication skills;
  • Project management and coordination knowledge;
  • Proficient in MS Office;
  • Familiarity with Unifier a plus;
  • Knowledge of transportation planning and infrastructure projects;
  • Experience with megaprojects;
  • College degree in engineering or equivalent;
  • Experience in transit-related projects.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Our company provides flexible work arrangements, opportunities for professional growth, and a collaborative work environment. In addition, we have several working options available for working at Morrison Hershfield, including remote work possibilities.

Location

This position is based in the GTHA, with regular travel to client sites and potential assignments to work from client premises.
