Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Risk Analyst to join our Transit and Rail Team in Ontario. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for reviewing, assessing, and developing physical and cyber security program tasks and deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have experience in railway or similar complex projects and possess strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively communicate with clients.

Responsibilities
  • Security Program Development: Assist in the development of threat and vulnerability risk assessment reports, security risk profiles, and proposing security enhancement features and guidelines for public transit systems and other infrastructure projects.
  • Client Interface: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to collect evidence, identify, track, and close security vulnerabilities, and provide support for system design requirement change management process.
  • Program Management: Support senior security staff in day-to-day management of security programs and presenting security program findings and assessments to various stakeholders.
  • Training and Professional Development: Attend formal and on-the-job trainings related to the security program.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (engineering, information technology, etc.) + 2 years' experience in technical analysis and modeling.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. Ability to work with MATLAB or other statistical data analysis software applications.
  • Certifications: ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) exams.
  • Experience: Actual work experience demonstrating involvement in security (physical or cyber) programs for designing public infrastructure projects.
Estimated Salary:

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
