Position Overview:

As a pivotal member of our team, the National Operations Deployment Lead for Programs will collaborate extensively with both Operations and Business Stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of strategic program initiatives. Your role will be instrumental in gathering requirements and facilitating discussions to envision future solutions that foster positive transformations within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the implementation of best practices and a comprehensive deployment framework.
  • Formulate and execute a deployment strategy that encompasses all operational and business functions, managing the complete lifecycle of deployment activities.
  • Engage with various program and project teams to pinpoint synergies and dependencies.
  • Coordinate with leadership to identify suitable leads for requirement gathering and deployment efforts.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to effectively operationalize changes based on program deliverables, including new technologies and processes.
  • Oversee a cross-functional deployment team throughout the preparation, execution, and stabilization phases, ensuring thorough execution of pilot programs, change management, and communication strategies.

Additional Duties:

  • Adapt deployment activities to involve relevant functional groups, focusing on training, change management, and communication.
  • Apply change management principles to introduce innovative approaches for implementing changes.
  • Collaborate with teams to secure necessary materials and tools for deployment phases.
  • Analyze business requirements to identify gaps between current and future states, proposing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Act as an advocate for Operations and affected teams, identifying risks and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Conduct site visits to gather insights on challenges and feedback regarding current and prospective solutions.
  • Maintain regular communication with operations regarding upcoming changes and project statuses.
  • Utilize project management skills to develop actionable plans, ensuring realistic timelines and resource allocation.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed, which may include preparing and executing test cases and documenting any issues encountered.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingualism in French and English is a preferred asset.
  • 5-7 years of operational experience, preferably at a management level.
  • 2-5 years of experience in national deployment of processes or technologies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of operational systems and processes.
  • Familiarity with Change Management methodologies; certification is an asset.
  • Experience in Project Management; PMP designation is an asset.
  • Lean/Six Sigma training; Green Belt preferred.
  • Post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong leadership and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, as required.
  • Ability to manage time-sensitive demands consistently.
