Unlock Your Potential in Geotechnical Engineering
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at GHD. As a key member of our geotechnical team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality projects and services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field investigations, site inspections, and prepare technical borehole records and field reports.
- Assist senior staff in engineering analysis, design, and reporting.
- Manage field works and sub-contractors.
- Assist the geotechnical team in preparing proposals, work plans, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate and manage various geotechnical projects.
Requirements:
- A university degree in Geotechnical, Civil Engineering, or Geological Engineering.
- Strong report writing and verbal communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of working with relevant software such as gINT, MS Office, and Geotechnical software such as GeoStudio, Rocscience, would be an asset.
- Ability to work as a team member as well as independently.
- Ability to work in extended hours and travel.
- A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
