Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Royal Paan. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Implement Operational Procedures
Develop and implement effective operational procedures to ensure the smooth running of our dining establishment, including staff training and scheduling.
Lead and Motivate StaffSupervise and motivate a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of food quality.
Manage Inventory and SuppliesEstimate and manage inventory and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
Ensure Quality ControlMonitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that our food meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Prepare Budgets and ReportsPrepare and submit budgets and reports to management, providing insights into sales, inventory, and staff performance.
Address Customer ComplaintsRespond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and to the customer's satisfaction.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Personal QualitiesClient focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.

Support for Youths- Participate in Government or Community Programs
Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment, including initiatives that provide on-the-job training, mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
Offer On-the-Job TrainingOffer on-the-job training tailored to youth, providing them with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the food service industry.
Provide Mentorship and CoachingProvide mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth, helping them to develop their skills and advance in their careers.
Support for Veterans- Participate in Government or Community Programs
Participate in government or community programs that support Veterans, including initiatives that provide mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
Offer Workshops and Counselling ServicesOffer workshops, counselling services, and other resources to help Veterans navigate their transition into the civilian workforce.
Support the Translation of Military SkillsSupport the translation of military skills and experience into the language of the civilian job market, helping Veterans to succeed in their careers.
Support for Indigenous People- Participate in Government or Community Programs
Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people, including initiatives that provide mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
Develop and Maintain RelationshipsDevelop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, Indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations, providing opportunities for Indigenous people to succeed in the food service industry.
Provide Cultural Competency TrainingProvide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees, creating a welcoming work environment for Indigenous people.
Support for Visible Minorities- Participate in Government or Community Programs
Participate in government or community programs that support members of visible minorities, including initiatives that provide mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
Apply Hiring PoliciesApply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, including anonymizing the hiring process.
