Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Merchandise Manager to join our team at First Nation Goods Inc.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sales process, including assigning tasks to sales workers, ordering merchandise, and establishing work schedules.

Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties based on customer needs and store requirements.
  • Order merchandise in a timely manner to meet customer demand.
  • Authorize returns of merchandise as needed.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure efficient use of staff time.
  • Sell merchandise to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of sales workers to ensure effective teamwork.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a sales or retail environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work on site is mandatory, as remote work is not an option.
