Job Title: Merchandising Team Lead - Part Time

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandising Team Lead to join our team at American Eagle Outfitters. As the right-hand person to the Merchandising Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring our stores always meet AEO Brand Visual Standards. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Merchandising Team Leader in maintaining the highest level of visual standards, driving an outstanding guest experience, and executing Floorset plans with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate knowledge of AEO Brand Visual Standards and ensure all areas of the store are effectively executed to these standards.
  • Support the Merchandising Team Leader in driving an outstanding guest experience by ensuring the store is always representative of AEO Brand Standards.
  • Train and coach the Floorset team to achieve clear productivity goals and maintain high-quality execution of Floorsets.
  • Collaborate with the Merchandising Team Leader to develop and implement merchandising strategies that drive sales and achieve business objectives.
  • Participate in the creation and execution of floor layouts, visual displays, and product presentations that enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in retail or a related field, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of visual merchandising principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods, as well as climb ladders and move merchandise as needed.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
