Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Road Maintenance Technician to join our Infrastructure Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our road infrastructure assets, ensuring they are safe and functional for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on roadways, bridges, and other infrastructure assets.
  • Operate heavy equipment and vehicles to transport crew and equipment to work sites.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Participate in emergency response rotations and be available for overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience in infrastructure maintenance and repair preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  • Class DZ/AZ driver's license and OTM Book 7 highly desirable.
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to traffic and outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high precarious places, fume or airborne particles, and frequent exposure to insects.

Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk on a wide range of surfaces, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Use manual and powered pneumatic, hydraulic, gas, and electric powered tools and equipment. Vision abilities include both close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
