About Dao Cafe

Dao Cafe is a reputable dining establishment seeking an experienced Cafeteria Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our cafeteria. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Job Summary

We are offering a competitive salary of $50,000 - $60,000 per year for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Scheduling Methods: Develop and implement effective scheduling systems to meet the demands of our busy cafeteria.
  • Supervise Staff: Oversee and coordinate the activities of our food preparation staff, ensuring that they are trained in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records of stock levels and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet the highest quality standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
