Cafeteria Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cafeteria Supervisor to join our team at Dao Cafe. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cafeteria, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives, and demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The Cafeteria Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure, be physically demanding, and have a strong attention to detail.
