Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and organized Ambulatory Care Chemo Unit Clerk to join our team at PHSA. This role will be responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare teams, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate appointments, diagnostic tests, and procedures, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling
- Process clinician orders, prepare requisitions, and communicate with patients and staff
- Organize and maintain accurate records, both electronic and physical
- Provide receptionist duties, including greeting patients, answering phone calls, and responding to inquiries
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Grade 12 education and completion of a recognized Nursing Unit Clerk program
- 1 year of recent experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
