Key Responsibilities

  • Process retirement and termination applications in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of pension plan members
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Extract and interpret information from various technical sources to ensure accurate processing of pension applications
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with members, employers, and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in pension legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve business objectives and improve processes

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in a related field, such as Commerce, Business Administration, or Actuarial Math
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard office administration procedures
  • Sound knowledge of pension-related terminology and concepts
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
