Electrical Project Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to join our team in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Role Overview:

The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for managing electrical projects in the Thunder Bay and district area. This includes working with division managers, suppliers, and sub-contractors to complete projects on time and within budget, while ensuring all work is done safely and meets quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple electrical projects simultaneously, coordinating technical staff, equipment, and resources to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide clear direction to site foremen and workers, ensuring that engineering deliverables comply with regulations, standards, and corporate procedures.
  • Pricing and ordering electrical materials for projects, as well as implementing safety programs and policies.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including clients, employees, and contractors, to achieve project goals.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Recognized accreditation as a journeyman electrician.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive electrical supervisory experience.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as planning and organizational abilities.
  • A high level of technical understanding, including knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code.
