We're seeking a talented Virtual Construction Student to join our team in Richmond, British Columbia. As a Virtual Construction Student, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects by developing your skills in building information modeling (BIM) software and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate site plans using AutoCAD and BIM software
  • Collaborate with our team to create construction schedules and site layout documents
  • Produce high-quality working drawings, including plans, elevations, and sections
  • Format plot styles and AutoCAD settings to achieve desired design effects
  • Prepare job report binders and create new work order forms
  • Become proficient in BIM software, including Autodesk, NavisWorks, and Revit
  • Develop skills in scheduling programs, such as Navisworks and SureTrak

Requirements:

  • Strong desire to work in a construction environment
  • Good working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Ability to apply various computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, and drafting
