Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Technology Manager to join our team at PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring multidiscipline construction models are current and modeling standards are being adhered to, to meet construction needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage integrated construction resource allocation at the district level and lead department process improvement activities.
  • Liaise with estimating to establish and manage staffing resources and budgets for new pursuits and projects.
  • Participate in project interviews and proposal writing in respect to virtual design construction (VDC) & other integrated technologies.
  • Support the setup, management, and best practices of digital workflows.
  • Coordinate and manage trade detailing and design deliverables.
  • Liaise between design teams and construction teams.
  • Develop and implement BIM execution plans.
  • Collaborate with design and trade partners to support the development of project documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, diploma, or 2-year certificate in a buildings-industry related discipline.
  • 8 to 10 years of construction-related experience including 4 to 5 years of Virtual Design and Construction-related experience.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequences and technology.
  • Ability to provide project model management and ensure the quality of virtual design and construction models.
  • Intermediate knowledge of the building construction process and the various building components involved at each stage of construction.
