About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Virtual Construction Student to join our team in Richmond, British Columbia. As a Virtual Construction Student, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and develop your skills in building information modeling (BIM) software, AutoCAD, and other construction-related tools.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating site plans, construction schedules, and site layout documents using AutoCAD and other software.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including site safety plans, site access plans, and temporary electricity plans.
  • Collaborate with senior managers and other team members to ensure successful project execution.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in construction technology and BIM software.
  • Contribute to the development of new work order forms and job report binders.
Requirements
  • Strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience is an asset.
  • Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and other construction-related software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and senior managers.
