About the JobWe are seeking a qualified Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Lakeview Daycare. As a key member of our food services team, you will be responsible for planning menus, estimating food requirements, and overseeing the preparation and cooking of meals.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning: Plan menus that cater to our children's needs and dietary requirements.
- Cooking and Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they are working efficiently and safely.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Competitive Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year based on experience.
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.
- Work-Life Balance: 35 hours per week, permanent position.
- Language: English required.
