Responsibilities:

  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements: Develop and implement creative menu ideas that meet the needs of our customers, ensuring that we always have a wide range of delicious options available.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes that exceed our customers' expectations, using fresh ingredients and following proper food safety guidelines.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that our kitchens and food service areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food: Provide comprehensive training to our kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
  • Order supplies and equipment: Source and purchase high-quality ingredients, equipment, and supplies to support our kitchen operations.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers: Lead and motivate our kitchen team to deliver exceptional results, providing guidance and support when needed.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment: Accurately record and track our inventory levels, ensuring that we always have sufficient stock to meet demand.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Manage kitchen operations: Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.

    About You: To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

    • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • A passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
    • Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment

    What We Offer: In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

    • Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum (depending on experience)
