Technical Sales Director

Job Title: Technical Sales Manager
The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth for the Company through direct sales and distributors. This role requires a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the Company's products and services to provide pre-sales and after-sales technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets;
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within potential markets;
- Expand the geographical market presence and grow the distribution network;
- Drive day-to-day sales with direct customers and distributors;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders;
- Understand customer needs and requirements and provide suitable solutions;
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement;
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the Sales Manager;
- Provide technical support to distributors and end-users;
- Prepare quotes and bid applications;
- Develop, maintain, and grow the sales pipeline in order to meet sales targets;
- Perform product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training as required;
- Regular and accurate reporting for management;
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of proven project sales experience in environmental, water basin management, geotechnical, geologic repository, fracking, or oil and gas applications;
- University degree in Environmental Science or Hydrogeology;
- Experience in managing distributors and working with end-users;
- Extensive experience in project sales as well as tendering processes;
- Proven experience in a technical sales role with a track record of achieving and growing sales;
- Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills;
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- The candidate must be a self-motivated and results-driven individual;
