Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at The Rabbit Hole, a sophisticated restaurant located in the heart of Toronto's Financial District. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Be knowledgeable about our menu, including food and beverage items, and make recommendations to guests.
  • Ensure accuracy when entering information into the POS system and maintain a clean and organized section.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation standards, adhering to our high standards of excellence.
  • Follow all food safety standards and systems, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests.
  • Be aware of any special requests, including guest allergies, and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety.
  • Complete opening, closing, and side duties efficiently and safely, maintaining a high level of productivity and professionalism.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of serving experience in a similar environment.
  • Smart Serve Certification is a requirement.
  • High attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Organizational skills, sales ability, and ability to multi-task.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and high level of product knowledge.
  • Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum.
