We are seeking a Server Assistant to join our Front of House team at The Drake. As a Server Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Delivery: Rapidly and accurately deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests' rooms and tables.
- Order Expediting: Expedite food orders rapidly and accurately to ensure timely delivery.
- Team Collaboration: Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House teams, facilitating communication and ensuring a smooth service flow.
- Table Setting: Assist servers with table setting by placing and removing appropriate tableware, eating utensils, and napkins.
- Food Safety: Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
- Guest Interaction: Describe components of the dish to guests, answer questions about ingredients and menu items, and check in with customers to take additional orders or refill water as needed.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Enthusiasm: A good opportunity for an enthusiastic applicant looking to enter the hospitality industry.
- Physical Demands: Energetic and willingness to be active in the workplace, completing tasks that are both physical and repetitive.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate, multi-task, and work as part of a team or independently.
- Knowledge and Skills: Possess and/or eager to develop food and beverage knowledge and hospitality experience.
- Availability: Must have flexible availability to work morning, evening, late-night, and weekends.
