Job Summary:

The Durham Catholic District School Board is seeking a qualified teacher to fill a permanent position in Transportation Technology, Religion and Geography. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the following courses:

  • CGC1W1
  • HRE1O1
  • TAS1OS

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Teaching Transportation Technology, Religion and Geography courses to students in grades 9-12
  • Developing and implementing lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice

Requirements:

The successful candidate must:

  • Hold a valid Ontario teaching certificate
  • Have a strong understanding of Transportation Technology, Religion and Geography curriculum
  • Be able to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
