Food Service Manager

At Mr. Pretzels, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure accurate ordering and inventory management.
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing feedback and coaching to ensure excellent performance.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Prepare and submit reports on stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a strong commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.
- Fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic setting.
English is the primary language of communication in this role.
Work Schedule:40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts and weekends as needed.
