Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Funeral Director Assistant to join our team at Lotus Funeral and Cremation Centre Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our funeral directors and ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Consultation: Consult with the family of the deceased to understand their needs and preferences regarding funeral and related services.
  • Preparation and Planning: Oversee the preparation of remains, plan and schedule funeral services, and coordinate burials and cremations.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Arrange for the transfer of remains from the place of death to our funeral home, and pre-arrange funerals as needed.
  • Communication and Support: Provide excellent communication and support to our clients and their families throughout the funeral planning process.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
