At Lotus Funeral and Cremation Centre Inc., we are seeking a skilled Funeral Director Assistant to join our team. As a Funeral Director Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that families receive exceptional care and support during their time of need. Your primary responsibilities will include consulting with families regarding funeral and related services, overseeing the preparation of remains, planning and scheduling funeral services, coordinating burials and cremations, pre-arranging funerals, and arranging for the transfer of remains from the place of death to our funeral home. * Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
* Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Consult with family of deceased regarding funeral and related services
* Oversee preparation of remains
* Plan and schedule funeral services
* Co-ordinate burials and cremations
* Pre-arrange funerals
* Arrange for transfer of remains from place of death to funeral home

**Work Environment:**

* Work Term: Permanent
* Work Language: English
* Hours: 30 hours per week
