About the Role:
Alquemy Search & Consulting is seeking an experienced Azure Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing resilient architectures for existing and new systems hosted on-premises and in third-party IaaS/PaaS/SaaS clouds.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, modify, and test technical architecture.
- Provide supervision and guidance to development teams.
- Lead the implementation of cloud-based solutions using Azure services.
- Align project requirements with technologies within our organization's stack.
- Provide an architecture following organization and industry standards.
- Presents architecture to stakeholders and ensures consensus.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available.
- Identify and mitigate potential technical issues and risks.
- Provide updates on product development processes, costs, and budgets.
- Advise business groups on technical and strategic updates.
- Develop best practices and standards for Azure solution development and implementation.
- Provide technical design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance, and system support.
- Provide on-call support for data solutions and participate in hardware/software upgrade projects.
- Assess and implement new technologies.
- Create and maintain requirements specifications and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer/Data Science, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology.
- 3+ years of experience developing and designing architecture using Azure Services.
- Experience in end-to-end implementation of Cloud data solutions using Azure services.
- Relational Database Experience (SQL Server).
- Critical thinking, strong problem-solving, and analytical skills.
