Senior Manager, Business Continuity

BDO is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Business Resilience Team as a Senior Manager, Risk Advisory. As a key member of our national Risk Advisory Services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality consulting services to clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive business resilience strategies to ensure the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and sustain operations during adverse conditions.
- Establish resilient frameworks, policies, and procedures to guide the organization in handling crises, disasters, and disruptions effectively.
- Lead client engagements, develop business opportunities, and contribute to business development and sales initiatives.
- Mentor and coach team members to maximize their potential and create a working atmosphere that promotes learning.
- University diploma in a relevant field, preferably in risk and emergency management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Manager in the mentioned areas, with a minimum of 5 years as a practitioner in Business Resilience.
- Experience in supporting a professional services firm in the development of an advisory practice.
- Verifiable track record in the targeted industries, including building relationships.
- Professional designation (CBCP, CBCI) and membership in risk management, emergency management, and/or business continuity organizations.
- Knowledge of risk analysis, emergency preparedness and response, and business continuity approaches, standards, and regulations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and prospect staff at all levels of the organization.
