Job Title: TIG Welder

Velocity Machining & Welding Inc is seeking a skilled TIG welder to join our team. As a TIG welder, you will be responsible for welding a variety of metals using the Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field of employment.
  • First Aid Certificate, Pressure Welding Certification, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate, Fall Arrest Protection Training Course, and Forklift Operator Certification.
  • Valid driver's licence and basic security clearance.
Work Environment:

The work environment will be fast-paced, with repetitive tasks and handling of heavy loads. The physical demands of the job will be high, requiring standing for extended periods and overtime.
