Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Bistro du Parc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, ensuring they are sanitized and ready for use.
  • Place dishes in storage areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness.
  • Scour pots and pans to ensure they are free of food residue and ready for use.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as vegetables and fruits, to meet our culinary standards.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and tidy workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Language: French language proficiency required.
  • Work Term: Temporary position available.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
