Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Bistro du Parc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation, heating, and finishing of simple food items, including vegetables and fruits.
  • Dishroom Operations: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and place them in storage areas.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, as well as sweep, mop, and polish floors.
  • Support Services: Assist with tasks such as scouring pots and pans, washing and peeling vegetables and fruits, and preparing ingredients for cooking.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: French.
  • Work Term: Temporary.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
