Bistro du Parc Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our kitchen team as a Cook's Helper.

Responsibilities
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, ensuring a clean and sanitized environment.
  • Place dishes in storage areas, maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Scour pots and pans to maintain their condition and prevent damage.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, following established recipes and guidelines.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, ensuring they are prepared for cooking.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in French is required.
