Job Summary

Great Canadian Entertainment is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at River Rock Casino Resort. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and public areas of the resort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make beds, change linens, vacuum, and clean guest rooms and public areas according to policies and procedures
  • Provide guests with fresh towels and toiletries
  • Restock inventories as required
  • Answer guests' questions and provide excellent customer service
  • Check that TVs, radios, lights, and AC/Heating are in proper working order
  • Dust and polish furniture
  • Scrub floors, walls, and windows as required
  • Empty and clean waste paper baskets and ashtrays
  • Remove linens and garbage to appropriate bins
  • Shampoo carpets as directed and required
  • Report damages to Team Leader or Manager
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with all operational departments
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations

Requirements

  • Available to work up to 40 hours per week in a variety of shifts, including early morning and weekends
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Previous housekeeping experience an asset
  • Energetic, highly motivated
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Criminal Record Check
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication
