About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ambassador Pizza Co. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Hire and manage food service staff
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Work Setting
    • Restaurant environment
  • Security and Safety
    • Criminal record check
  • Transportation/Travel Information
    • Public transportation is not available
    • Work Term: Permanent
    • Work Language: English
    • Hours: 30 hours per week
