Job Title: Drywall Installer

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at 3A Renos Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying successive coats of compound, and sanding seams and joints. They will also supervise other workers, instruct apprentices, and ensure high-quality finishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install drywall sheets, measuring, cutting, and fitting them to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Apply successive coats of compound, smoothing out excess and allowing coats to dry
  • Sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Supervise other workers and instruct apprentices in drywall installation techniques
  • Ensure high-quality finishes and attention to detail
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with a large workload and tight deadlines. They will be required to work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, and will need to be physically fit to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks.
