Drywall Installation Job Description

NORTHCON CORP is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall sheets to ensure a smooth and even surface.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to fit specific areas
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
