About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at NORTHCON CORP. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets and finishing them to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Installing Drywall Sheets: Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Finishing Joints and Edges: Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Taping and Embedding Tape: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to create a seamless finish.
  • Smoothing and Finishing: Smooth out excess compound and allow coats to dry to achieve a high-quality finish.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
