Job Summary

JSD Construction Experts is seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying and smoothing coats of plaster, and ensuring a high-quality finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Finishing: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, and apply coats of plaster to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Plastering and Taping: Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency, apply, and smooth coats of plaster, and tape over joints using a taping machine.
  • Ceiling Grid Fabrication: Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Joint Compound Specialist: Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Finish Coat Artist: Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 38 hours per week.
