Chief Executive Officer/Director of Planning

BC Ferries is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our Strategy & Planning team as a Chief Executive Officer/Director of Planning. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our corporate strategy, leading our annual strategic planning workshops, and overseeing the evolution of our multi-year Strategic Plan and integrated Corporate Business Plan.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement our corporate strategy, aligning with our mission and vision
- Lead our annual strategic planning workshops, engaging with the Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors, and senior leaders
- Oversee the evolution of our multi-year Strategic Plan and integrated Corporate Business Plan
- Design and report on corporate performance measures, ensuring alignment with our strategy
- Shape the agenda for management strategy reviews, ensuring all business units are aligned with our strategy
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Management, or related discipline; Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or equivalent preferred
- 10+ years of experience in strategic and business planning, reporting, and corporate performance management leadership in large, complex organizations
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading teams, including managing performance, providing feedback, establishing goals, and work plans, preferably in a public sector and unionized environment
