Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our Corporate - Operations team in Calgary, AB. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective operations of our property management offices, while providing exceptional customer service to our residents, tenants, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations by tracking progress, reviewing reports, and resolving issues to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Administrate our National Renewals program to ensure timely and efficient renewal processes.
  • Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in our processes and procedures, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop and document standardized policies and procedures.
  • Implement and communicate Company policy/procedures related to operational activities, and maintain operations documents, including core processes, SOPs, and templates.
  • Maintain the Operations document file structure and SharePoint site, and support and train internal and external staff throughout Canada on operation policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with external and internal team members and other stakeholders, and maintain clear operational guides to ensure consistency of operations, compliance with laws, regulations, and/or standards.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, committees, and working groups, and attend Operations' meetings, health & safety meetings, etc.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Able to work independently, is a self-starter, and able to effectively multi-task.
  • Three years previous experience in an administrative function, preferably in a Property Management organization.
  • Experience with Yardi and Sharepoint is an asset.
  • Ability to use MS office suite at an intermediate level.
  • Good customer service skills and pleasant demeanor.
  • Strong team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills combined with the ability to interact effectively with senior management.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English in all communications.
