Ridge Meadows Hospital is seeking three physicians to join our team of nine full and part-time internists/subspecialists. The successful candidates will be subspecialists with GIM ability, or GIM with subspecialty interest relevant to Ridge Meadows Hospital and/or community.
Location: Semi-rural community 45 minutes from downtown Vancouver, providing a perfect blend of lifestyles.
About the Role: As a semi-rural community, Ridge Meadows Hospital offers a unique opportunity to practice medicine in a supportive and collegial environment. Our hospital provides full-service community medicine, with full radiology services including MRI scanning, and excellent support from the "big city" hospitals and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient care and consultation services
- Follow up patients in the community and encourage the development of a consult service
- Participate in teaching of residents, fellows, and 4th-year medical students
- Contribute to the development of medical administration and leadership skills
Requirements:
- Subspecialty training in GIM or relevant subspecialty
- Experience in point-of-care ultrasound, leadership, medical administration, and teaching

- Provisional appointment for 1 year, usually followed by permanent staff appointment
